Card payment processed by Netopia. WooCommerce marks order as complete.
WooCommerce webhook → EventGate issues tickets
EventGate receives the order, checks stock, issues tickets with unique QR codes, emails the customer.
Customer receives email with ticket links
Each ticket has a unique QR code. Customer shows it at the door.
Staff scans QR on any mobile device
EventGate scanner validates the ticket in real time. Dashboard updates instantly.

The bridge plugin

The EventGate bridge plugin connects your WordPress site to the EventGate API. It does exactly one thing: show available tickets on your event page and forward confirmed orders to EventGate.
Your WordPress setup — theme, plugins, hosting, and checkout flow — doesn't change. If you stop using EventGate, you uninstall the plugin. No residual data, no broken pages.
What the plugin does
Registers a shortcode
[eventgate_tickets event_id="..."] — add to any post or page
Renders the ticket widget
Fetches available ticket types from the EventGate API and renders a selection form
Handles WooCommerce orders
Hooks into the order completion event and sends the order to EventGate
Stores the API key
Configure once in WP admin → Settings → EventGate
