Common questions

Do you charge commission per ticket sold?

No. EventGate charges a flat setup fee — there are no commissions or per-ticket fees. The more tickets you sell, the better the economics.

Do I need to replace my WordPress site or WooCommerce?

Not at all. EventGate plugs in alongside your existing stack via a lightweight bridge plugin. Your WordPress site, WooCommerce checkout, and Netopia integration remain exactly as they are.

How long does setup take?

Most integrations go live within a day. We handle the initial setup and walk you through the bridge plugin configuration.

Who owns the attendee data?

You do. All ticket and attendee data is stored in your EventGate instance. There is no third-party marketplace or data sharing.

Can I use the API to build custom integrations?

Yes. Every EventGate feature is available via REST API. You can issue tickets, query attendee lists, or build a custom check-in flow using API keys.
