Total stock limit, max per order, and max per customer — all configurable independently.
Serial numbering
Custom prefix and numbering series per ticket type. Tickets print as VIP-00042-X9K3R.
Access zones
Tag tickets with access zones (e.g. Main Stage, Backstage). Scanners can validate zone access at the door.
Badge colors
Color-code ticket types for quick visual identification during scanning.
Orders & Customers
Admin order creation
Issue tickets manually from the dashboard for complimentary passes, press, or corrective orders.
Customer database
Every buyer is stored automatically. Track purchase history across events.
Order status management

QR & Check-in
Unique QR per ticket
Each ticket has a cryptographically unique QR token. Tokens are separate from the public view URL.
Multi-entry tickets
Configure tickets for single or multiple entries. The scanner tracks entries used vs allowed.
Partial use tracking
Re-entry events: tickets show as "partially used" until all allowed entries are consumed.
Mobile scanner
Scanner works in any mobile browser with camera access. No app to install.
Live dashboard feed
Every scan appears in the admin dashboard in real time via SSE. See entry counts update live.
Manual code entry
If camera fails, scanners can type the ticket code manually.
Scanner roles

REST API
Every feature is accessible via API. Authentication uses API keys (not JWT cookies).
API key management
Create, revoke, and monitor API keys from the dashboard. Keys are stored hashed — shown only once at creation.
Webhook support
Receive a POST from WooCommerce when an order is confirmed. EventGate processes it idempotently.
